A young bride, at the height of her wedding party seeks a quiet space for reflection as events swirl around her.
The setting is absurd – a room filled with giant, almost grotesque-like presents. As she anxiously paces up and down, she is confronted by her alter egos in the form of three dancers, each wearing her own wedding dress.
Together they form an acrobatic chorus, and its movement takes the audience on a journey through the secret thoughts that torment this young bride. Are the conventional rules of gender behaviour what she really wants? Or do these dancers, freed of the constraints of society, present her with other frightening possibilities outside time and space?
Clowning, acrobatics, aerial dancing and original compositions come together in a poetic lament of feminine anguish.
